Two-piece butterfly valves - soft-seated
Our two-piece, soft-seated butterfly valve is the ideal solution for use in a wide range of media - from aggressive acids to sensitive applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The body is completely elastomer-lined and the seat ring serves as a multifunctional sealing element that guarantees a secure seal. This provides optimum protection for your equipment and ensures a long service life. It is available in different versions, including wafer or lug type, to meet the individual requirements of different applications.
Flexible automation thanks to GEFA-Multitop
The GEFA-Multitop system in accordance with ISO 5211 allows numerous actuation types to be easily implemented, giving you maximum flexibility when controlling your systems. This ensures easy integration into existing systems and individual adaptability to your process requirements.
Maximum service-friendliness of the butterfly valves thanks to the two-piece body
The two-piece body of our butterfly valves enables quick and easy seat ring replacement. This makes the valves extremely maintenance-friendly and reduces downtimes, which makes your processes more efficient.

- The actuator remains mounted on the upper part of the body
- After loosening the two body screws, only the lower part of the body is pulled out downwards together with the inner part
- Simply pull the seat off the valve disk
- Fit the new seat onto the valve disk - it's very easy!
- Press the lower part of the body back together with the inner parts and tighten the two body screws firmly
- Done!
Technical features of the two-piece butterfly valve
The two-piece soft-seated butterfly valve has a one-piece, backlash-free and hysteresis-free disc/shaft connection that minimizes dead spaces and enables sterile cleaning. The spherical disc ensures uniform seat contact pressure and reliable surface sealing, supported by an additional labyrinth seal.
The seat is robust and thick-walled with a secure dovetail guide. This design ensures high tear resistance and stability, even at high flow velocities and abrasive media, without inward bulging.
